Winters are just not like they were. Lately the winters have only provided a few good days of cross country skiing conditions in the region. The Hamilton Conservation Authority will be working with all its trail users to encourage cross country trail use on some of its 40 km of trails in the Dundas Valley Conservation Area.
Walkers and equestrians will be asked to avoid certain trails when snow conditions are good for skiing. There will be plenty of other trails in and around the HCA conservation areas for walkers.
The following trails will be posted for skiers only during suitable snow conditions:
On other trails walkers are asked to avoid walking on ski tracks if possible
