Dundas Valley 50 Year Vision and Strategy Survey
In 2009, the Hamilton Conservation Authority (HCA) with the assistance of LURA Consulting and the local community crafted the Dundas Valley 50-Year Vision and Strategy document. The 50-Year Vision acknowledges that there are growing concerns in the Dundas Valley and its connecting areas, and seeks to address these through a number of actions. To move forward with the Dundas Valley 50-Year Vision and Strategy, an 18-month early stage implementation phase is currently underway through the financial support of the Friends of the Greenbelt Foundation. For more information about the project please contact Anuja Ramgoolam- Dundas Valley Project Coordinator at 905-525-2181 ext. 157 or email Anuja.Ramgoolam@conservationhamilton.ca. You can also visit the project website at the following link: http://www.conservationhamilton.ca/dundas-valley-50-year-vision-and-strategy-2. Presently, the selection of the top 10 strategic directions (projects) for implementation in the Valley is being conducted. We encourage the public to participate in helping us determine which of the 43 strategic directions should be addressed within the next 5-Year period in the Dundas Valley. Using the Vision’s 43 strategic directions (action items), help us to determine where action should be taken within the next 5 years, 10 years, or immediately.
